Desert Programs
The purpose of the National Community Health Initiative (NCHI) is to promote education and awareness about diseases and health conditions that disproportionately affect communities of color and to eliminate associated health disparities.
The NCHI aims to improve the lives of AEAONMS members and the communities where we live by providing financial support for research and national outreach.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
The Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine shares a long tradition with the NAACP, as some of its prominent attorneys were instrumental in a case that determined the organization's future. On June 2, 1929, the right to be called "Shriners" was threatened.
For this reason, among others, we have committed to assisting the NAACP in its goal of expanding membership and spreading information to advance not only our race but the equality of all races.
For more information about this program, contact a Shriners representative in your city or the Desert NAACP Representative.
